undated, circa 1890-1900 Allaire, Woodward & Co., Peoria, Ill. "YELLOW PARILLA" Apothecary Herb box with contents measures approx 2.75" x 2" x 1.5" tall.
As noted on the packaging, common names for this homeopathic herb are Yellow parilla, Moon Seed, Yellow Sarsaparilla, Vine Maple.
Noted to be a tonic, laxative, and diuretic.
Excellent gift or collectible for doctor, pharmacy, primitive, country store, medicine cabinet, apothecary, pharmaceutical, decorative, etc.   Looks great displayed in my kitchen spice cabinet.
