This K Con is one of the most unique and exceptional ones I've ever heard/played.  Very dry for a K Con!
The stick click sound is prominent and woody.
The tone is medium low.
Although this ride is quite dry, it has a beautiful, breathy and complex subtle wash beneath the stick sound which is thoroughly
controlled
but distinguishes it from the many unlathed dry cymbals out there which lack any richness or color but instead sound like cheap anvils.  This ride
sounds
like a K Constantinople.  I'd compare it to a Sabian Artisan Elite in many respects.
The bell is clear and projects beautifully.  There are no funky overtones to this cymbal.  It is versatile and would be as appropriate for lounge jazz as for loud rock.
The hammering pattern suggests this an an earlier K Con - as from the days before the hammering took on a sort of spiraled appearance.
It has a brown patina which I find beautiful on
any
cymbal.  There are no dings, cracks, flea bites, etc.  I noticed the very early beginnings of a keyhole when I acquired it years ago, only identifiable upon close inspection.  Examine the pictures to see how minor this is, and it will not progress when placed on a cymbal stand with the usual nylon or rubber sleeve on the stem as any drummer who loves their cymbals will do.
There are two rivet holes exactly opposite the stick target which will accommodate split brass rivets according to your taste.
In summary we have a very special 22" K Con ride with a prominent stick click and a controlled wash.  I have played the heck out of it - and loved it - and it is now being offered as I am in the process of incrementally divesting of my rather large bronze arsenal.  Don't miss this one.
