Authentic Antique J M Grosvenor KONSEAL FILLING AND CLOSING APPARATUS --- BOX ONLY ---. Boston, Mass, Patented Suppository Making apparatus. NO CONTENTS, this is the box only, which will be great for holding one of the molds, if you have one. The molds are fairly common, but the boxes are not. TONGUE-IN-GROOVE construction.
PAPER instructions affixed to inside lid are ORIGINAL, and do have some chipping, Tear across lower corner, some buckling, but mostly intact, LEGIBLE and great for displaying. All DIVISIONS intact, though there is some old staining.
HINGES: One is attached to lid, other attached to box, but the cover is LOOSE until new tacks are put in hinges. (I don't have the very small size necessary)
LID fits securely and well, nevertheless.
SIZE: CLOSED: 17 1/2" across, 9 3/4" deep, and 2 1/8" high.
CONDITION: It appears that some chemical spilt on the box lid at one time and stripped finish off. But the NAME is intact and legible. Various finish wear/spots, stains, etc. I took pictures, so please use them to evaluate condition. This will make a great way to store your Molds and other apparatus, and will make a great addition to your collection. Please see my other items listed. .
