    Description

A 1906 earthquake survivor, this antique pharmacy ledger is filled with prescriptions from various druggists, chemists, hospitals, sanatoriums, and doctors in the San Francisco California Bay Area as well as Southern California, and a few from different states and even Canada. The earliest written dates I have found are 1902 and 1903. Some of the prescriptions include the doctors' home addresses and 4 digit phone numbers. There are approximately 224 pages, a few of which are loose, as shown, and towards the end are blank. This book is over 100 years old and has been burned, most likely in the earthquake, and has an "old odor". The spine is loose a the beginning and end and the cover material is actively flaking off. There are no signs of water damage. It is approximately 16" tall, 11" wide, and 3.5" thick and weighs over 9lbs alone. It will be packed carefully and the shipping cost includes additional insurance.
Shipping quote is for lower 48 states.
I’ll ship to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and Guam for an additional fee.  Please contact me for a shipping quote prior to purchase if you are outside of the continental 48 states. Thank you.
Also, when I mark an item as shipped, it's actually in the mail, and on its way to you, not just that the mailing label was printed.
I don't enjoy saying this, but due to a few bad apples almost spoiling eBay for all of us, a seller must protect themselves as well--especially on the higher-dollar items, so the ledger’s information is logged, and "mapped" (interior / exterior) with detailed pictures, in the event a return is made with a different ledger, or a part is changed or removed. Again, please accept my apologies for this statement. It's only directed toward "the 1%".
