  • Condition: This tin is in overall good condition for its age, but does have some paper surface loss, oxidation and rust which are consistent with its age and use. Missing the lid and the paper label is only on the front. Selling it as found, without being restored.

    This is a rare and antique "Pattinson's Calcined Magnesia" tin with a paper label on front.  This product was patented in 1841 and was made by the Washington Chemical Co., Durham, England.  We purchased this tin in England and i

    4.5" square and is 9" high.  This tin is in overall good condition for its age, but you be the judge from the pictures.  Would make a great addition to ones collection or used for decoration.
