    Dated 1969 L88 ZL1 427 BBC Rectangle Aluminum Heads 3946074 074 12-30-68 1-15-69
    Nice pair of heads. No cracks or repairs. All screw in stud stands are nice with no weld repairs. All threaded holes are nice. A couple spark plug holes have helicoils. Exhaust ports are factory with no porting or polishing. Intake runners are slightly polished (very nice) and not ported. Combustion chambers untouched. Spring pockets are enlarged for larger valve springs and have steel cups installed under springs for better strength then factory spring pockets. Decks have been milled leaving no corner markers. These heads with early dates like these are very hard to find and rare. Heads may and should be freshened up before use. Water jackets are clean and nice with no corrosion. Winters snowflakes, part # and dates are clear and nice. The ends of heads have Jenkins engraved on them. I would bet Grumpy Jenkins with the early dates and slight modifications done to heads.
