    Description

    Peacock feathers on a grapevine hoop with green aventurine stone beads and silver-plated beads.  Hoop measures 6 inches across.  These feathers are from live birds.
    Bellamino was born and lives at Acoma Pueblo, New Mexico and is a member of the Parrot clan. He is one of a few people that live on the mesa full time. Acoma is the oldest continuously inhabited pueblo since 1150 AD and is located on a 367 foot sandstone bluff. Bellamino has been interviewed in the Smithsonian magazine, featured in newspaper articles, appeared in television commercials in Mexico and was involved in a White Bison Sacred Hoop Journey. Bellamino has made and sold dreamcatchers, medicine wheels and jewelry for over 25 years. He also does woodcarvings with beautiful designs.
