Description

I recently acquired a number of parts that came with a 1969 Z28 that was purchased out of an estate. The car had been stored since the late 70s/early 80's and had a bunch of NOS parts stored with it that were meant for the build. The guy who bought the Camaro out of the estate was putting a LS engine in the car and was not concerned with originality. I bought the engine, transmission, and other parts from him and plan to list them here on Ebay. This is a pair of New Old Stock GM "Turbo" cylinder heads for Small Block Chevy engines. The casting number on each head is 340292. These heads were bought for the 1969 Z/28 described above and were never installed. These heads are the most high performance heads that were available from GM at the time. They have angle spark plugs and no heat riser passages. These are the real deal!
These heads are in awesome condition as shown. They have never been bolted on an engine. The owner was very particular and refused to leave parts in bare metal so he painted the outsides orange and in insides with rustoleum as shown.  The screw in studs and guide plates are already installed. I am including the springs, retainers, and locks that were bought for the heads. The cam that was in the engine these heads were destined to go on had a Crane cam so I imagine the springs are either GM or Crane. The valves that were bought for these heads were original GM units and I have them in separate listings. The heads look to be completely stock except some minor intake port deburring which could have been done by GM. These are simply awesome unused castings.
