Original GM Pair of 346236 BBC Oval Port 396 402 454 Cylinder HeadsHARD TO FIND ORIGINAL CLASSIC CAR & TRUCK PARTS
Original pair of GM heads dated M 19 3, (I don't believe that's the correct date code but it's all I can find), and K 5 77, please verify all the castings for yourself as they can be difficult to read. By the very old dried out Mud Dobber dirt pictured on one of the heads I think it's safe to say these heads have been sitting for a very long time and will need to be gone through! I'm selling off all of my GM heads and intakes that I have collected over the last twenty years. The vast majority are big block Chevrolet with a few Pontiac mixed in. I've purchased and collected these parts from friends, swap meets, acquaintances, some were extra when I purchased a car and some were left over from a restoration. They came from a variety of places and I do not recall the story or history on each pair after all these years. I am confident that each head is rebuildable and free of cracks. If you purchase a head or pair of heads and for some odd reason find that one is cracked just ship it back and deemed unrepairable gladly refund your money. Please use the zoom feature to ensure this item fits your version of the “right part” and that it fits your application. I may think this part is really nice or in exceptional condition but that’s my perspective. I may have looked at dozens of broken original parts and know it’s difficult to find a good one that is not broken. You may be looking Taiwan or Chinese reproductions made with half the thickness an OEM part has, but has shiny paint. I think the reproductions are junk because I know from experience they don’t last, you may think my part is junk because the paint is not shiny. We may see things very differently so please take the time to really inspect this part because I love to help people find parts to complete their project, that’s my passion. I do not want a situation to unfold where someone is unhappy with their purchase of one of my parts, that takes all the fun out of a hobby that means so much to me. If you feel like you need to see more or I missed something of importance please let me know and I’ll gladly take additional photos to help you make a more well informed decision. Please know that all of my parts are sold untested and are for restoration purposes, if it ends up being ready to install that’s a bonus for you! While these are 50 year old parts the vast majority of them have been stored away inside since the early to mid-1990’s so they will have fared better than most. Thank you for looking at my auction and good luck with your project and your passion.
Thank you for allowing me to share my passion with you. I have thousands of original car and truck parts available in my store. Please save me as a seller and search my store for other hard to find classic car and truck parts.
Thanks,
Dave
