Rare 1908 NWDA Druggist's Bronze Nude Sea Nymph & Neptune Desk Tray Trinket Dish

Antique 1908 NWDA National Wholesale Druggists' Association Bronze Nude Sea Nymph & Neptune Desk Tray / Trinket Dish
This unusual and beautiful desk or dresser dish is shaped like a sea shell. Inside is a lovely nude woman or mermaid-like sea nymph, a fish, and what I assume is meant to be a round pearl. She is holding on to the long beard of Neptune, who is watching over the top of the shell.
The emblem in the center reads "NWDA  Inst'd 1876". The 1876 date refers to the establishment of the National Wholesale Druggist's Association which began as the Western Wholesale Druggists' Association.  Below the NWDA emblem is the date 1908.
The metal appears to be bronze. It measures about 3 5/8" wide and 1 3/4" tall to the top of Neptune's head. I'm not quite sure what the rectangular piece on the top is for.
It is in good preowned vintage condition with age patina and I have not cleaned it. Please see all the
