Some very minor natural irregularities on the surface of the shovel as expected and some possible wear to shovel blade at base from use. It displays very well.     Antique 19th C CAST IRON Apothecary SHOVEL Spice SCOOP General Store TOOL -
    It is a really nicely made piece of early cast iron that was used to scoop or shovel spices or drugs for customers of apothecaries or general stores .   The item has a very desirable form and we have only seen one other scoop or shovel similar to this over the 30 years we have been selling and collecting.  See photos for your estimation.  It is in good to very good condition with the condition being described above.  See details above and view photos as they are the best representation of condition.
    Measures approximately 10 3/8" tall/long and 2 1/8" diameter (from edge to edge) at widest point of shovel blade.
