    Description

    Auction is for a great dog figurine that came  from a local estate.  This has been displayed, however, they it is a rare and hard to find piece that any collector would love to have.  Please view all photos as they are considered part of the description.  I am no expert on vintage dog figurines and don't pretend to be.
    Auction is for a
    WHIPPET - "WINGED FOOT MARKSMAN"
    figurine. It is model #1786B designed by Arthur Gredington.  This is the second version were the tail is attached to the leg.  This model was discontinued by 1989.  Tan gloss.  No
    chips, cracks or repairs I can find.  Some paint fade as expected with display and age. Measures 5.5" long and 4.25" tall.  Marked on bottom of paw with Beswick black mark.
