Reconditioned 1147 Engine Cylinder Head No. 304955 Triumph Spitfire and Herald !

Ann Arbor Sportscar is pleased to offer
a reconditioned used OEM bare “builder” engine cylinder head for Triumph Spitfire and Herald with 1147cc engines.
This cylinder head is part number 304947 and casting number 304955.
This OEM cylinder head was recently serviced
by our local reputable auto parts machine shop.  The engine cylinder head was thoroughly degreased, hot tanked, shot-peened, and crack-tested (magnafuxed) for integrity.
No cracks were found or any other issues indicated by the machine shop.  We measured a finished head thickness of 2.98” with our shop caliper.
Please note that the exhaust valve seats in number two and three combustion chambers are a bit ragged from corrosion and will require some work from the buyer prior to rebuilding.
This head was finished in cast iron grey
primer coat to protect it from flash-rusting.
