At Rostra Accessories we are pleased to introduce a newly-
redesigned multi-camera interface and mobile phone screen
sharing device for 2016-2018 Ford F-series trucks, Ford
Explorer, and Ford Edge vehicles equipped with Ford’s
SYNC® 3 system and a factory-installed 8” LCD screen.
Now available for sale, part number 250-8455 allows for the
installation of, and access to, multiple cameras around the
vehicle providing unparalleled safety through added driver
awareness. Camera options include rearview, sideview/
blindspot, forward-facing, cargo/trailer or any other camera
mounting location that you choose - all accessible via the
steering wheel’s Speak button and a custom on-screen menu!
Drivers can also connect their HDMI output-capable mobile
device to the included HDMI input and instantly share their
phone’s screen to the dashboard of their vehicle.

• Compatible with all current versions of the SYNC 3 system - including the latest 3.0 release.
• Completely plug and play with the factory infotainment system. Module installation takes less than 30 minutes.
• Allows connection of five cameras to the factory screen in addition to the OEM backup camera.
• Allows monitoring of any connected camera at any time while driving (not including OEM backup camera).
• Right and Left Blind spot camera inputs automatically triggered by the turn signals.
New Feature: Cargo Camera Control
With the install of your new SYNC 3 multi-camera interface, you now have an option to add a
Fifth Wheel Docking, Trailer or Cargo Camera into your system with an OEM reverse camera by
using the 360 Input on the interface.
Now you can access this camera by pressing the Cargo icon in the interface main menu page.
Or if you have turned on the “Cargo Icon Overlay” and place the vehicle in reverse, a Cargo
Camera icon will appear in the upper right corner.
Pressing the Cargo Camera Icon will switch from the OEM, or aftermarket camera connected to
the REAR input, to the camera that is plugged into the 360 Input.
** You must turn on this option in the interface settings in order for this feature to work **

Turn Signal-Activated Side-View Cameras Reverse-Triggered Bed-View Camera
A front-facing camera can be
triggered to power on automatically
when the vehicle is in motion at less
than 10 MPH or manually with a
long press of the momentary button
included with each system.
Side-view cameras integrated into the
vehicle’s mirrors can easily display video
from the vehicle’s blindspots when the left
or right turn signals are active. Blindspot
cameras can also be powered on manually
via the touch screen’s Camera icon.
Real-time monitoring of the bed or cargo
area of the vehicle can be achieved using
the selectable reverse camera option to
display video while on the road or when
the vehicle is placed in reverse - an ideal
solution for fifth-wheel trailer connectivity.
The included HDMI input allows
mirroring of an AndroidTM or iOSTM
device’s screen directly to the dash
of the vehicle while the USB port
provides charging of the device when
connected. Audio from the device
streams via the vehicle’s Bluetooth
system providing an OE feel.
The device’s rear camera input can be
used to add an aftermarket backup camera
to vehicles without an existing camera or
to display video from a factory-installed
camera. Drivers can easily alternate the
function of shifting the vehicle into reverse
to display a Bed/Cargo Area or rear-view
camera in the factory-style Settings menu.
