The musical opened in NYC on 03/13/28 and ran for 318 performances.  This Los Angeles Civic Light Opera production opened in LA on 06/17/47.
The cast includes John Tyers, Marthe Errolle, Polyna Stoska, Jack Goode, Clarissa, Richard Charles, Earle MacVeigh, Henry Calvin, John Miljan, Lester Matthews, Henry Brandon, Colin Hunter, Raymond Bailey, John Ford and Richard Abbott
.  Music by Rudolf Friml and lyrics P.G. Wodehouse and Clifford Grey and book by William Anthony McGuire (based on the novel by Alexandre Dumas).  Lyrics to new songs by Forman Brown and book revision by Edmund Joseph.  Directed by Jose Ruben and choreographed by Aida Broadbent

Souvenir programs are 9 x 12 inches but may vary somewhat in size.
Condition is near excellent with minor wear including some yellowing on the center pages from a one-sheet program printed on newsprint that is included with this program.

CONDITION:
I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality:  Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.  Good means just that:  desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade.  Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders.  Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear.  All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition.
