The flapper/tank ball is responsible for keeping the water in the tank when the toilet/water closet is not in use. By actuating the tank handle the flapper/tank ball lifts up and lets the water out of the tank. The water goes into the bowl causing the bowl to flush. After the tank has been emptied the flapper/tank ball returns to its’ original position.

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CHECK WHAT PART IS IN YOUR TOILET PRESENTLY.  VARIOUS FLUSH VALVES WERE PLACED IN TOILETS DURING THEIR YEARS OF PRODUCTION AND DIFFERENT FLUSH VALVES MAY TAKE DIFFERENT FLAPPERS.

SHIPPING - DOMESTIC:
Buyer to pay shipping & handling costs by USPS.  Least expensive mailing option will be used unless another type of service is requested by buyer. Please advise.
This item may ship comparable UPS shipping service depending on what warehouse item is shipped from.  Shipping costs to be confirmed at auction end. A handling charge of 50 cents will be added to actual shipping charges (on calculated shipping).  If shipping charges paid are higher than amount paid, difference will be refunded.
SHIPPING - INTERNATIONAL:
Final international shipping charge to be confirmed at time of auction end.   Certificate of Shipping will be added on First Class Mail International packages.  No items will be replaced on international shipping.  A handling charge of .00 will be added to actual shipping charges (on calculated shipping).  If shipping charges paid are higher than amount paid, difference will be refunded.
COMBINED SHIPPING CHARGES:
Purchases from my other auctions may be combined to save on shipping costs, but all items must ship from the same warehouse to be eligible.  Please contact us for combined shipping costs and eligibility before purchase.
SHIPPING LEAD TIME:
This item is expected to ship within 4 business days of receipt of payment.   Saturday and Sunday are not considered business days.
DOMESTIC PURCHASES:
Payment must be received within 7 days of auction close. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or Paypal accepted.
INTERNATIONAL PURCHASES:
Payment to be made by Paypal.  Payment must be received within 7 days of auction close.
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

RETURN POLICY:
Exchanges can be made (for same or comparable item, if available) for damaged items.  Contact must be made within 7 days of receipt of item.  This item may be returned for money back if in original packaging in undamaged, uninstalled condition.  Item may not have any wrench marks or show any signs of attempted installation.  Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges (both ways) and any fees that are incurred through ebay or paypal.

Note that free shipping only applies to the contiguous 48 states….does not apply to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and international shipping. There is not an option to exclude Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico when computing shipping charges. Please contact us for shipping charges BEFORE purchasing. If item is returned, the cost to ship item to buyer will be deducted from refund amount. Refund amount will be price paid less the shipping cost incurred by DPF Plumbing.
