    This is a good used Cylinder Head for a Triumph Spitfire 1500 (also MG Midget 1500 which used same engine).
    This part came from a 1978 Spitfire. The casting number is RKC0589. I believe the actual part number is TKC3239. No air injection ports. This head would have 7.5:1 compression on the standard federal spec dished pistons (or 8.4:1 on flat top pistons)
    I believe this head would physically fit pretty much any Spitfire block from 1971 onwards. Comes with full set of valves and springs
    The head appears to be in pretty good shape. on visual inspection no cracks or other damage. All threads good, most of the studs still in place. This head came with a parts car. I did not see it running but I know it was parts of a fully assembled car so I assume it was in use and serviceable. There was no evidence on strip-down of any gasket failure, water in the oil or oil in the water.
