Very Old Prickly Ash Berries Handtied Pharmacy Drug Herb Paper Package Collectors
This unique item is a very, old paper pharmacy, drugstore wrapped package of Prickly Ash Berries that was hand tied with string.  This is a wonderful and rare pharmacy collectible. Given our knowledge of the history of the drugstore involved, we believe this to be from about the 1890s time frame.
The words "Prickly Ash Berrries" are handwritten in a beautiful script.  The paper wrapping was hand tied with string and we doubt it was ever opened. The brown paper wrap measures approximately 5 1/4 inches X 3 X 3.  We doubt this has ever been opened.  The package is in poor to fair condition from long term storage and moving area. The paper is very fragile. The string is holding well and is in very good condition.  It shows soiling, small spots, staining, and torn areas.  The wrapping seems to be fairly intact but do notice an occasional leaked berry.
This will make a great addition to a vintage Pharmacy, herbal, or drugstore collection.
