Vintage SILVER Tone SHELL DOOR KNOCKER, Heavy Metal w/ Screws - NAUTICAL, Sea

You are bidding on a wonderful vintage polished silver door knocker with a shell design.  This door knocker measures 8" tall and 3 1/2" wide and is quite striking.  It comes with two screws that measure 3 1/8" long but since 1/8" sits in the door knocker, it amounts to 3".  You can certainly use shorter different screws if preferred.  The door knocker is in good condition but does have some wear.  Please look at photos to see a couple of marks on the "Name Plate" area of the knocker.  A real stunner and perfect for any home.  Very heavy.  I am unsure of the exact age but neither very old or new.
I use the US Postal Service and use priority mail to ensure quick delivery although size/weight can often be a deterrent due to a balloon fee on boxes over a certain size. Shipping costs are based on weight and distance from my home in Fairhaven, MA. In simplest terms, I ship priority mail unless it is a book (then I ship using media mail) or if the item is bigger than a breadbox or heavier than 5 lbs (unless I can fit it in a flat rate box).   I'm also open to local pick-up at my home in Fairhaven.
I've been selling on Ebay since 1998 but this is not a full time job.
